Today’s blog post I wanted to focus on this GORGEOUS Mountain Top Elopement and a little of what it took to make this become a reality.
First of all, I was super lucky to have my good friends Rei and Yoshi be so down to hike this mountain. They had just gotten married a few weeks prior and were wanting some wedding photos that scream “Hawaii”.
We started the hike a little more than an hour and a half before the sunrise. Although this hike is only about 20 minutes long, it is realllyyy steep. So after huffing and puffing our way to the top, we summited, caught our breaths, had a drink of water, and were able to find a small cliff where there was enough privacy to change.
We spent the next 45 minutes running up and down the mountain face, avoiding cliffs and finding all the good spots. This couple is seriously the cutest and it was so fun to see them make each other laugh.
Although the scenery may be great, the lighting just right, or the wind picked up at just the right time, the thing that really makes photos so magical is the people behind them.
So grateful for the people who made this possible including my sweet husband for filming 😉
